Another nightshift at the mortuary
Humming neon lamps light the scenery
Numerous tables standing in file
On every one a dead body lies
Silence dominates in this tiled halls
It is as peaceful as usual
But then something happened you didn’t expect
Somebody moved who should be dead
Did it really budge? The last one on the right?
Impossible! You won’t believe your eyes
Slowly you walk towards the lifeless suspect
Pass the tables of those who didn’t come back
As you come closer there is nothing to see
Sure it was a joke of your tired out fantasy
But once again you feel the grip of horror
As you want to turn around it moves once more

It squirms and writhes
It crumples and fights
It presses and meanders from inside
It shrugs and quivers
It’s about to break free
This can't be real, no, this can't be real
