It begins with the death of all you know
To ascend from beyond the ground below
Slowly, I wake to the iridescent shine
Of a formless figure calling me to open my eyes
Through space unbound
I hear it speaking without a sound
New consciousness endowed
By majesty holding a celestial crown
In stars, we drown
I feel them breathing inside and out
Their ancient souls reach down
Pulling up the anchor which had tethered me aground
